El cuarto trabajo discográfico de Britney Spears salió a la venta el 18 de Noviembre del año 2003. Debutó #1 en USA y vendió 609,000 copias en su primera semana. El álbum tuvo unas críticas de lo más variadas y fue un trabajo muy criticado por su alta carga erótica/sexual. En total lleva +3 millones vendidos en USA y 7 millones en total sumando con las ventas mundiales. Del álbum se desprendieron 3 singles #1 mundiales: “Me Against The Music”, “Toxic” y “Everytime”. El álbum también fue promocionado con una gira mundial “The Onyx Hotel” que se vió interrumpida (y finalizada) de forma brusca por una lesión de rodilla de Spears. Igualmente el que iba ser cuarto single, “Outrageous”, vió frustrado su lanzamiento al Britney lesionarse justo en la grabación del videoclip.
